Biggest Loser.


My husband and i have joined a group to get rid of our "baby phat".
3 kids in 7 years has done so damage to our body. We do eat healthy just don't exercise like we should. This group is teams of 2 people, we each paid $40 to get in to the "game". What i love is this group is more about making our bodies healthy rather than just loosing weight. We have rules to follow etc. We will weigh in every two weeks.
We don't have the luxury of a gym right now, and we have three kids so most of our exercising is going to be done in our home. So here is what i'm asking my friends...
What workout dvd will kick our butts... i mean will seriously have us crawling into bed at night ?
I have heard The 30 day shred is HARD, and i have heard biggest loser boot camp is hard, and some P90X or something... what do you think ?
Any advice...

Hey Rach, 30 day shred left me sore for like 4 days and really does kick you butt. And by the way you guys are going down! :) LOVE Shannon

I'm so happy for you! This is something I've really been working on. I know it affects me so much spiritually when my body is run down. Anyway, the 30 Day Shred has become my new best friend. I have a love/hate relationship with Jillian Michaels. But I am WAY out of shape, so if I can do it, I'm sure you can too! I've also heard there is a Dancing with the Stars cardio DVD that sounds fun.

Good luck in your competition. I'm sure you will do great!

I actually heard that the Dancing with the Stars one was really good.... Im an old school girl. I still like my Billy Blanks..

Im so excited for you guys - I pray that you guys embrace this choice youve made wholeheartedly for a lifetime!

If you are just getting started 30 day shred should be fine to start.
Since you cant get to the gym you need to look at your surroundings and get creative about fitness. 30 day shred will be fine at first , but you have to change things up in order to continue challenging your bodies.
I think Pastor Ben should get the P90x its a rockin workout- I LOVE IT! I think the 30 day shred is too girly for him.

(no offense to you 30 day shred guys out there)

It's me...Rob Renirie's daughter. I hope all is going well down there. I thought I would let you know that there is no program that will beat you down and build you back up like P90X. Although I have not done it in quite some time, I started the program in the fall of 2008. When I started, I could barely run a sprint and do a couple of push ups. Within 6 weeks, I was doing 45 full push ups before I started to get tired. I lost 12% body fat, dropped 20 lbs, and was running circles aound my kids. If you want something that really works and is gonna make you scream for your mama, P90X is the way to go!

I totally agree that P90X is incredible as well as Couch to 5K. It's a running program,with weekly pod casts to keep you motivated. AMAZING!!

I'm in the process of losing weight too, so I wish you the best in your adventure!!
